What is BNB?
BNB is the native coin of BNB Smart Chain, and you pay transaction and smart-contract fees on that network with it. BEP20 tokens such as USDT (BEP20) move on the same network.
BNB Smart Chain is compatible with Ethereum (EVM), so addresses and tools look similar, but it is a separate network with its own coin and fees. BNB’s supply is designed to shrink over time through scheduled burns.
