How do you buy Ethereum?
Pick the route that matches what you hold now:
No USDT yet? See how to buy USDT first
- You have local currency: buy USDT in the P2P section first, then swap the USDT into Ethereum.
- You have USDT or Toncoin: open the Swap section, choose your asset as the source and ETH as the target, and enter the amount.
- You hold ETH elsewhere: open Receive in Waletifi, choose the Ethereum network and send from there.
Step by step: swap USDT into ETH
The swap flow in the app:
- Open the Market tab or the Swap shortcut.
- Under “From” choose USDT (or Toncoin), and under “To” choose Ethereum.
- Enter the amount and read the route. If your USDT is on TON, the swap has several steps and one signature each.
- Check “Minimum received”, “Price impact” and the fees.
- Confirm with fingerprint or PIN and follow the progress. You can leave the screen and get a notification.
Fees and price impact
A swap has several costs, all shown before you sign: the Waletifi fee for the swap, a bridge fee if the network changes, and the network fee, which is paid in the source network’s own coin. If you are short of it, the app tells you before you sign.
If your amount is large for the market’s liquidity, “Price impact” warns you. On very small amounts the network fee takes a large share, and the app warns about that too.
Which network do you receive Ethereum on?
The swap delivers ETH on the Ethereum mainnet. One 0x address works on every EVM network, but balances are separate: ETH sent on Arbitrum or Base does not appear on mainnet. On the Receive screen choose the network the sender will use.
Risks
Ether’s price moves and no return is guaranteed. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed, so re-read the destination and network before confirming. The swap section may be unavailable in some countries or paused for a while; your assets stay in your wallet.
