Native SegWit addresses
Your Bitcoin addresses start with bc1q. These are native SegWit addresses (BIP84), the widely supported modern format, which keeps transactions smaller and fees lower than older address types. Exchanges and other wallets can send to them without trouble.
See the fee before you send
Bitcoin fees depend on how busy the network is. Waletifi shows the network fee, and the total in your own currency, on the review screen before you confirm, so you are never surprised by what a transfer costs.
One recovery phrase, restorable elsewhere
A new Waletifi wallet backs up Bitcoin and every other supported network with one 24-word recovery phrase. It is a standard BIP39 phrase, and Bitcoin uses the standard derivation path, so the same phrase restores your bitcoin in other standard BIP39 wallets too.
That means you don’t depend on us: if you ever stop using Waletifi, your 24 words are your way out. Write them on paper and never share them with anyone.
Litecoin and Dogecoin too
Alongside Bitcoin, Waletifi supports Litecoin and Dogecoin on the same phrase. Each coin has its own address and its own network fee, and the app shows both clearly before you send.
- Bitcoin (BTC) with bc1q addresses
- Litecoin (LTC)
- Dogecoin (DOGE)
- Look-alike address warnings before you send
