How to buy Tesla stock (TSLA) with USDT

- Open Stocks and choose Tesla (TSLA).
- Enter how much USDT to spend.
- Check the review screen: TSLA tokens received, conversion fee and Ethereum network fee in ETH.
- Confirm with your fingerprint or PIN; the transaction is signed on your phone.
- The tokens arrive in your own Ethereum address; selling back to USDT happens in the same section.
What the Tesla token gives you, and what it does not
The token is issued by a special-purpose company of a regulated issuer and backed 1:1 by Tesla shares held with a US broker, plus a buffer. Its price tracks the TSLA share.
It does not make you a Tesla shareholder. You get no voting rights and no direct ownership of the company; your token is a claim on the issuer. If the company pays a dividend, it is reinvested into the token’s price.
Fees
You pay a conversion fee and the Ethereum network fee, which is charged in ETH. Both appear on the review screen before you confirm, and the app warns you if you do not have enough ETH for the network fee.
Risks of tokenized Tesla stock
Tesla’s share is known for large price swings, and the token carries extra risks:
- The issuer can pause transfers, block addresses and even remove tokens from an address.
- Redeeming directly with the issuer requires identity verification.
- Network liquidity is limited, so a large trade can move the price.
- The US market runs 9:30 to 16:00 New York time on weekdays; weekends and US holidays can bring price gaps.
- Fake Tesla tokens and look-alike contracts are used in scams; buy only from the Stocks section in the app.
- The issuer may restrict addresses it associates with certain countries, including sanctioned countries such as Iran and Afghanistan; consider this like the other risks before buying.
