The Waletifi Market tab: P2P, Swap, Gold and Wall Street
The Market tab in Waletifi puts P2P, Swap, Gold and Wall Street on one page: each section is a card, a tap opens it, and a strip at the top lets you jump between sections. Only the sections enabled in your country appear.
Step 1: open the Market tab
In the bottom bar, “Market” sits right after “Home”. The page opens with the title “Market” and the line “Buy, convert and invest, all in one place”.
If only one section is enabled in your country there are no cards: the tab opens that section directly. With only P2P on, for example, the tab is simply the P2P market.
Step 2: the cards
The enabled sections are cards, each with a live figure:
- “P2P”: “Buy and sell USDT”, with the best USDT price.
- “Swap”: “Between coins and networks”.
- “Gold”: price per gram and today’s change.
- “Wall Street”: “Tokenized shares, bought with USDT”, with a “Market open” or “Market closed” marker.
Step 3: enter a section and move between them
Tap a card to open that section. The cards collapse into a small strip at the top, and tapping another pill takes you to the other section without going back first.
To return to the cards, tap the Market tab again. The back button takes you out of a detail page, such as one ad or one share, to its section.
Step 4: prices and movers
Below the cards you find “Your holdings in Market”, then “Top gainers today” and “Top losers today”. “Prices” is a list with the filters “All”, “Coins” and “Stocks”, and “Show all” or “Show less” changes its length.
With P2P on, “Best offers” appears and “All ads” opens the full list. The page notes: “Prices are for display only; the final amount is on the quote.” Only the quote on each deal sets the real amount, and nothing moves until you confirm. If a price might be old, the app says so.
Step 5: Wall Street, where enabled
“Wall Street” offers tokenized shares of US companies, bought with USDT. The label “Tokenized share · not the share itself” is a reminder that you hold a token on Ethereum that tracks the price and carries no voting rights. Prices follow the US market, so they can jump when it reopens after a weekend or a night.
The issuer of these tokens may restrict addresses it associates with certain countries, including sanctioned countries such as Iran and Afghanistan; consider this like the other risks before buying. The section is enabled country by country. See our page on buying US stocks with USDT for details.
Common mistakes
Clear these up early:
- Treating card prices as final. The real amount is on the quote.
- Thinking a missing card is broken; it is off in your country or temporarily closed.
- Forgetting that P2P needs identity verification while the rest of the wallet doesn’t.
- Reading “Top gainers” as advice; it only shows one day’s move.
